Ingredients: 3 pounds of cored and chopped apples, 3 cups of water, cup SPLENDA No Cal Sweetener, granulated, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Directions: In a large saucepan just barely cover apples with water then simmer over medium-low heat till they are tender about 15 to 20 minutes, chop apple mix in food mill or blender then stir in SPLENDA, lemon juice, and cinnamon. Cook over medium heat for another 3 to 5 minutes. Makes lovely side dish or can be served over banana loaf or ginger bread for a great desert.
