With diabetes it is very common for the sake of maintaining proper blood sugar levels for the person to eat more often. And so it will be quite natural to get used to having snacks between meals. The rule sometimes advanced about avoiding in between meal snacks doesn’t really have much value in these situations. These will be focused on foods that are low in sugar, yet also can be satisfying. And ones that are not high in calories since this is a snack and not a meal.
