It is also advised to call your doctor if you begin having:symptoms like above that blood sugar is too high or running higher than the goals you and your doctor set symptoms that blood sugar is too low blood sugar readings below 70 mg/dl numbness, tingling, pain in feet and legs infections in your feet vision related problems.

Early signs of hypoglycemia can be treated at home by eating small amounts of sugar or candy (or glucose tablets if available) but if it continues or your glucose levels remain below 60 mg/dL seek emergency aid.
